cgbreakdownstudios.com is a static informational website. It exists to identify the corporate entity and link to its publishing operations. It does not use advertising cookies or tracking cookies, and it does not set cookies of any kind. The only analytics it uses are the cookieless, aggregate analytics described below, which do not identify individual visitors. It does not contain forms, accounts, or login systems.

We may disclose the technical log data described above to Vercel Inc. Email sent to the address below is handled through Google Workspace, provided by Google LLC. We may disclose email contents, email address of the sender, and information related to or associated with the email to Google LLC. These providers process information only to deliver their services. Personal information may also be disclosed where required by law, or to protect the legal rights of CG Breakdown Studios Inc.

Storage outside Canada

The hosting and email providers and our other service providers may operate infrastructure in the United States and other countries, so personal information handled through this website may be stored or processed outside Canada. While outside Canada, it is subject to the laws of the country in which it is held, and may be accessible to courts, law enforcement, and government authorities in that country. CG Breakdown Studios Inc. relies on these providers’ contractual and security commitments to protect the information they handle.

Retention and disposal

Server log data is retained by the hosting provider for a limited period under its standard practices and then deleted or overwritten. Email correspondence is kept for as long as needed to address or resolve the inquiry and to keep a record of the correspondence. Where CG Breakdown Studios Inc. uses personal information to make a decision that directly affects an individual, that information is retained for at least one year, as required by PIPA, so that the individual has a reasonable opportunity to request access to it.

Security

Identity verification may be required before a request is fulfilled, and in limited circumstances PIPA may require or permit a request to be declined, in which case the reasons and available recourse will be explained.

CG Breakdown Studios Inc. will acknowledge the matter, investigate it, and respond within a reasonable period and in any event within the timeframes required by PIPA.

If the individual is not satisfied with the response, they have the right to contact the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner for British Columbia, which provides independent oversight of PIPA: oipc.bc.ca.
